The family-run farm, located at the foot of Monte Rosa in la Rusa, has been home to our cows for generations as well as goats, rabbits, chickens and roosters, sheep dogs and their puppies. The queens of the barn, however, are our two Haflinger mares, Sabina the mother and Biunda the daughter.
Our cows graze in the summer on the meadows in the hamlet of Rusa until they move to the pastures of the Alta Valsesia Nature Park in August. The barn is their winter shelter, where they can spend the coldest months of the year surrounded by the warmth of hay.
